Educare enhances literacy at the Farmer's Market Kick-off.
EDUCARE of Washington County is an exciting program funded by the Missouri Department of Social Services and designed to improve and enhance early childcare and primary education for children 0 - 3 years of age.

•EDUCARE offers workshops, training and assistance to child care providers, teachers, and daycare centers.

•EDUCARE empowers childcare providers with one-on-one training tailored to meet individual needs.


EDUCARE offers:

Storytime at your facility.
A resource/lending library and children's discovery center with books, educational toys, games, and videos
Technical assistance for state licensing and accreditation
Educational field trips
Support network for providers to share ideas and information as well as problem solving
Parent Information Corners (PIC) at various countrywide locations

The EDUCARE VISION:

Quality early care and education, parenting and health care are essential to children's growth and development.

To promote school readiness by establishing linkages in policy, program, and practice that will ensure all children a solid foundation for success in school and life.
